« Au moment où on se parle, quelque part dans la campagne sorelloise, une méga porcherie, une de plus, menace de s'installer... La mairesse est l'épouse du producteur, ses deux fils vendent de la moulée, une bonne synergie quoi. La majorité des agriculteurs du coin est sourdement contre le projet, mais se tait, on ne l'appelle pas la majorité silencieuse pour rien. La MRC branle dans le manche, comprenez qu'elle se laisse manoeuvrer. L'UPA, cette pute, répète avec l'air de le regretter qu'on a les lois environnementales les plus sévères du monde. Je me suis rendu compte avec effarement l'autre jour que la plupart des jeunes gens que je connais n'ont jamais mangé de cochon élevé aux épluchures. Ils croient que le porc c'est ça, du carton bouilli. On leur fait croire que c'est bon parce que c'est pas gras. »
